ThyssenKrupp installed a platform lift at the FC Gratkorn stadium so that footballs fans in wheelchairs could comfortably get to the stands without requiring any assistance. The ThyssenKrupp Tangent platform lift can be installed without any major constructional measures on almost all straight stairs that have a minimum width of 92 cm. Because the drive unit is mounted to the upper side of the rail, the platform can be folded to a width of less than 33 cm. In this way the Tangent not only facilitates the comfortable transport of the wheel chair user but also ease of access for all other stair users. The size of the platform can be varied and can be adapted to the style of the building.
